This year’s theme for Duologue and Poetry is ‘MUSIC’, the perfect framing for our youngest and dearest, who through their dialog recitations must follow pretty much the same variables that make or break a musical performance: proper tone, using the right volume, hearing and responding to your partner, making your content legible to the audience, have them enraptured with enthusiasm and conveying your emotions. Did we mention that all of this is achieved by 1st and 2nd graders? 

Forty students from those grades delighted us with their panache and joy on Friday, September 27th, at Colegio del Verbo Divino in Las Condes, for the semifinals and finals. Many would have thought that after a long dieciocho our students may have been distracted and tired. Oh boy were they wrong!

On the contrary, the explosion of energy from the students at Instituto Hebreo Dr. Chaim Weizmann attested to this when we announced they were this year’s winners of the Traveling Trophy (see picture above). Congratulations to all of them!
